October 2020 saw Beck Prosper take delivery of two brand new Doosan Puma GT2100M bar feed CNC machines. The Puma GT series are ‘equipped with the most powerful spindle in its class and the tool post of the next-generation concept to guarantee powerful and precise cutting capability and exceptional productivity’.
The machines have multi-functionality including end milling, face milling, drilling, tapping, etc and offers better machining performance whilst minimising work setting. Compared to previous models they have a faster repaid traverse and an optimal control function which ensures the highest productivity all controlled by a 15” user friendly operation panel.
Peter Harrison, Operations Manager, said that the new machines ‘would add a 32% increase in capacity to the bar feed CNC section’.
